Automatic custom save at shutdown?

Good Morning, I switch my laptop regularly between two different docking stations, and also use various overhead projectors. My desktop icon layout is whacked by XP every time, as the supported resolutions are all different. I have tried 5-6 other icon save/restore programs. This is the first one that has worked correctly for me EVERY time. Thank you for this program! Of course I am here to ask for something and not just to give praise I use the custom save feature because I can direct where the file goes and also give it a personalized name such as yyyymmdd_hhmmss_<generatedlayoutinfo>. (Occasionally I will save more than once in a day, hence the time as well as date in the filename.) I also suffer from "pilot error" and sometimes forget to save my layout before I shutdown and reboot. Unfortunately on reboot I have docked to another station. D'oh! Whacked icons and no current file to restore them from. So. Would it be possible to have DISR automatically save the icon layout somewhere (custom location or other) at system shutdown and/or other appropriate automatic save point, not overwriting the last but keeping all generations (or user specific number of generations)? I could then use the manual restore function and select the file to restore from. Just in case my last few automatic saves were 'bad position' saves and not worth anything to me. Just an idea, I hope you will consider my suggestion. Thank you again for a really great program, it is useful just the way it is but if you can "save me from myself" so much the better Thanks and regards, --appyface
