It has been a godsend on my Windows XP machine. Recently, I had to use Acronis to restore my hard drive. All the desktop icons are in their proper places, but every few minutes all the icons auto refresh several times. I renamed the Windows iconcache.db file and rebooted in an attempt to get rid of this problem. Windows did not create a new iconcache.db file (!), yet all the icons are displayed properly. Unfortunately, they still auto refresh every so often. Is it possible that dkticnsr.dll is somehow involved in this situation?
