Possible to get sysex out of device driver??

First of all (this is my 1st post): MidiOx is great, I love it! Well, I had to get that out. Now, I have this problem. I own a Waldorf/Terratec microwave PC synth module, that acts as a microwave xt synth without knobs. It also listens to the same sysex commands, but -here's the problem- it doesn't output sysex messages to it's midi out port. It is certain that the sysex out is actually generated by the dsp chips on the module, but the device driver does not incorporate these into the midi-out stream (there used to be a win98 utility that had this functionality, but it doesn't work with xp nor with newer setups of this module in combination with PCI soundcards). Having this sysex-output functionality is essential for use with pc-editors, to request any info from the module. Now, finally, my basic question: would it be possible (in theory; I can always study the intimate details later when I try to crack this nut) to use scripting in combination with MidiOx to 'capture' the sysex output from the device driver and incorporate it into any midi port? Any hints appreciated, Thanks, Paul.
