Scripting sysex + file save automation

Hello Jamie,

Can Midiox be scripted as such-

to Send a Sysex command for one patch, then after each patch is received save it to a file with a unique name?

I need to send a request for all the patches in my synth. Each Bank has 128 patches, and I'd like to save each bank in separate directories, with unique patch names.

I will do the scripting in Python (even though I hate COM), but I don't know how to tell Midiox to save the sysex buffer to a unique filename each time.

thanks
