Can't install midi yoke in W2K

Hi folks, i've been using midiyoke for a while with W98. I have recently upgraded to W2K and downloaded the W2K version, but when I try to install it I get to the last page of the installation and it says "an error has occured" and it fails to install. Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so I would love to hear back from you. Thanks for taking the time to read this message, Zencowboy.

Try uninstalling it (Remove), and then re-install.

OK, well I now have an experimental installer for those having trouble installing MIDI Yoke NT to try out. The auto-installer works fine for me on Win 2000 and Win XP, but then I don't have trouble with the original installer either. If you're game to try it: MYNTAuto.exe Please let me know how it goes. If it's working for people, I'll give it wider distribution. Additional Information: If you use the automatic installer, the driver will not be displayed in plain sight in the Sounds And Audio Devices Property, Hardware TAB, but is listed inside the Legacy Audio Drivers line in that dialog. Expand those properties to get to the driver configuration. It can also be reached in the System applet: Hardware, Device Manager, Legacy Audio Drivers, Properties. You need to access it from there to adjust or Remove it.

Greetings... new to midiyoke, and i seems to be having problems getting it installed correctly on my machine. Carillon AC1 Intel P4 2.0ghz 512 mb ddram win2000 the install goes smooth enough, but following installation, neither Acid or Reason see the Midiyoke ports. Windows says that the driver is installed but is not functioning properly. For what it's worth, the Sonic Foundry midi router does not install correctly either. Very strange. Jamie had mentioned that there are just some machines that these won't install on? I guess I should i just try the experimental autoinstall and then post back here with the results... any suggestions are welcome! thanks in advance. rich
