XP Pro Install Failure

I've tried installing myoke twice on XP Pro. I've followed the example install on the website. It gets to step 15 (shows the last "has not passed Windows logo testing-continue anyway?" and I say continue) but then it just jumps to step 17 ("all ok") and skips the driver Configuration dialog. When I say OK it does NOT ask me to reboot. Then the driver is nowhere to be found. I've rebooted and nothing. I've been through the midi-midi9 registry cleanout as well and retried with the same results. Any ideas?

One thing I can think of is the requirement that you are the administrator on the machine you are installing on. If you're not, it can prevent the config box from showing. Since you've checked the registry cleanout, I can tell you that after a successful install, one of the MIDI1 - MIDI9 keys will = myokent.drv. So you could check that. Also myokent.drv will be installed to the System32 folder.

I have the same problem. I have not been checking out the registry. I have bought my system yesterday and have only installed three midi devices so that can't be the problem. Still... I do not get the "configure" screen. When I install the driver as administrator nothing changes.

My problem is resolved already. I installed my drivers on multiple ports, so the registry problem was the one.
