Hi, im a new user of this soft, really very nice. I have been reviewing the forum searching about remap NRPN. I have some questions. Is working the remap CC to NRPN function? or there is a bug? Anyone have a "template" for the sblive NRPN? Bassicaly, i want remap Attack, decay and Brightnes CC to attack, decay and filter cuttof NRPN 16xxx of the SBLive. Is enough to modify the template that come with midiox (modulation to filtercuttof) that use a GS NRPN or i must do anything more? Well, much questions, if you answer me one, i will be happy =) P.D: An idea, why not a section in this page to exchange user .oxm made? by, xcuse my english

| CC to NRPN Mapping should work correctly. To verify it, look in the MIDI-OX Input monitor for original CC Event and MIDI-OX Output monitor for mapped NRPN Event(s). You can verify that the supplied "modulation to filtercuttof" map operates by using the above method, and use as a starting template for other mappings. | That's a great idea: I would be happy to post any user supplied maps (.oxm or .txm). I would think that a .zip might be best containing any maps plus a .txt file with a description of what they do. Another idea: a section on this forum (bbs) for user supplied maps. Users could enter the description as a message and email me the .oxm maps. I would upload them to the site and then link them into the message. They could be sent to webmaster@midiox.com

Hi, i have succesfully remaped the CC Brightness to NRPN 16277, and works. I will try with the attack CC to map to NRPN. I have a problem with it because appear that two NRPN are need to emulate a attack message (delay + attack) i dont know if i can map a single CC to two NRPN events. well, i will keep working on it. P.D.: MY objetive is manipulate my SBLive with standard midi messages and avoid NRPN, because if i xport the midi file or want to hear it trough another midi synthetizer, NRPN are lost, and CC probably not. by

Yes, you can map a single CC into 2 different NRPNs: when you map the first one check the [x]Pass the original value on (clone) option. Then map the 2nd one using the same CC as source.

Succesfull!! I have finished to remap brightness, release and attack CC to equivalent NRPN events. I will work now in Portamento, but i must investigate a bit more about sblive nrpn before. A question and a suggestion: Question: Is there a way to save a set of rules in one .oxm that preserves the order they are in the Data filter window? Suggestion: Using the Data filter window, maybe a field for the descriptive name of the oxm rule, and a checkbox to "bypass" a rule if you need. see later

| If by "Data filter window", you mean the dialog that shows the mappings, then yes: they are stored in the same order that they are shown. They are also mapped in the order they are shown.
