Hi, I want to control my juno-1 with my midibox via midi-ox. But I am not sure about the mapping part. Anyone done this combo before?

Thanks

I don't have that specific hardware, but MIDI is a universal standard. Only SysEx is specific to the device.

You can find a full Juno sysex implementation chart here:
http://www.vintagesynth.org/roland/ajuno1.shtml

I had the same problem (converting CCs to Juno sysex strings) and it works perfectly for me (thanks to MIDI-OX).

But I have another problem: When using MIDI-OX with Windows 95 (sic!) on my obsolete 486 laptop to perform sysex mapping, it always crashes when the first cc message comes in...with XP on my main computer, everything works fine. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Or is Windows 95 not supported anymore by MIDI-OX? For all other purposes, it works fine on my old machine, it's only that sysex mapping.

Thanks in advance. And sorry for warming up this old thread  Roll Eyes

Regards,
Andreas
