Mapping Sustain Pedal to Key Press

I am attempting to Map my sustain pedal through my Oxygen8 so that I can use it to trigger a drum in Reason's Redrum. When I create a Translation Map to change value 1 when it is 40 to 24, the change is not reflected in the Input and Output monitoring windows. I have checked the Turn Map On button in the Translation Map window. So, this is how I have it set: Input Value 1: 40min 40max Output Value 1: 24min 24max Everything else is passed as is. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is it possible you're being fooled by hex - decimal representation? By default, HEX is displayed in Monitor Window, but the Mapping View uses decimal. You can display the Monitor in decimal by right-click in monitor and choose Display Decimal. The middle of the range for the sustain pedal in 40 hex = 64 decimal.
