How to program MidiOx to hold notes?

Quick question on setting up a translation that I'm not sure is possible... Can I create a translation where if I press & release a note NON+NOFF it will cause my sound module to hold the note until the next time I press and release the same note? Example: My roland spd-6 percussion pad transmits a note on then a note off after a "gate" period (this can be modified from .1 to 4 seconds) I want to hit a pad (which will send, for example, note on #50, delay 1 second, then note off #50) have it play a note on my sound module, then when I hit the same pad again, it turns the sound off. I'm pretty sure it's not possible as it seems to need to invoke logic and a state check. Can anyone help? Thanks

Yes, what you describe is known as Latch Mode. MIDI-OX mapping does not currently have the capability to remember which note is playing, but it may be a useful feature for MIDI-OX to support Latch Mode -- I'll add it to the wish list.
