Behringer Foot Pedal FCB1010 for Martin LJ 2.6

I am trying to use a Behringer Midi Foot Controller FCB 1010 to run Martin's Light Jockey 2.6 release 6. The Martin experts say that Light Jockey only accepts midi note commands. I think the Behringer Foot pedal sends program changes. Is there a way to convert program changes to note commands?

FCB1010 can send "note-on events" as well. It is fully programmable. Read the manual, it is very well written. good luck!

Heh, I wouldn't go as far as to say "well written"... but yes, it's all in there. Each switch on the FCB1010 can: *) toggle an external hardware switch *) turn on an external hardware switch while held *) send up to five program change messages on different channels *) send up to two control messages *) or toggle one controller between two settings *) send a note on when the switch is pressed *) send a note off when the switch is released Oh, and change the function of the expression pedals. The note on/note off is useful as you can use MIDI OX to turn it into a CC setting like Sustain which is on only while the pedal is pressed. (If someone knows how to get the board to do this, rather than toggling the value, let me know! )
