Sync midi clock master App to MTC slave App

Hi all,
 
Im new to midi and am having a little trouble understanding it fully, but I was hoping to get a little help with this if possible...  
 
I want to sync an app called JUMP, which uses midi clock only and can only be master, to Cubase SX3 which accepts only MTC as slave. On using hubi's and midiox, I can get the sync window (the one with green numbers) to start when pressing start on JUMP, and get Cubase to start by pressing PLAY on the sync window (the one with green, which triggers the one with red numbers), but I cannot get Cubase to start by pressing play on JUMP.
 
I dont care that it wont be proper 'syncing' but if both programs are set to say, 120BPM, they should be close enough for me I hope
 
Is there a way of doing this please?
