Is Toggling multiple mapped messages possible?

I have a Fantom X7 and I've configured it to layer instruments on the first 8 channels. In order to do this live and on the fly I've assigned the 16 available pads to send SYSEX data to turn the channels on and off.

The problem is that the Fantom allows me to assign one pad to send the "on" message and the a separate to send the "off"

What I need is a way to push one pad to send both messages but alternate the message with each press.

Can MIDI OX be configured to do this easily? If not, what software might you suggest that can?

Hi ,
I have an X8 and on the mixer page you can select the Green option Mute/solo - which toggles the mute on then the second push of the pad turns the mute off for that instrument.
But you have probably tried this
You could use MidiOx by ...
Send out a different note on message for each pad. The default setting
You could then use velocity to turn the part on and off.
eg Pad 1  msg 99 24 velocity  (Note on channel 10 note 24H)
Two maps for this pad ...
For velocities below 41H  map the sysex for off of part 1
For velocities above 40H  map the sysex for on of part 1
hitting the pad hard will turn it on and hitting it softly will turn it off
Also have a look at the message about problems with sysex maps that I had

Cheers
