Mapping problem...

I'm not getting something apparently...

I mapped the incoming midi from my drum pad as follows

(read as fields in the translation map screen)

10,*,*,*,*,* ,NO  1,*,*,*,*,*

This works just fine

Now it gets to the point where it's not doing what I think it should be doing:

I have another translation line below that one

1,*,*,*,*,* ,YES  2,*,*,*,*,*

It seems that this second line should pass the channel #1 message as it's cloned, and trigger the same data on channel 2 (which would play the same notes with the instrument I have in my synth module on channel 2)

But it's not doing that!

What am I screwing up?

(Uh, I'm in Linux...  Always tough to respond to trickier questions...  So, I'll throw one back Wink)

So what is it doing?  Is it affecting the MIDI data at all?

So what is it doing?

I just get one single note on channel 1. Nothing happens on the second line.

Uh!  It's not the translated note that's processed through the second line, it's the original, I think.  Try changing the channel to 10 on line 2?

Yes, 'clone' means 'clone the original message'.  It wouldn't be a 'clone' if it was a copy of the mapped/altered message.
