Thanks, but I don´t get it switching, neither does it accept a map change in properties field of port map. Change to new map only after data map edit and ok. I've not said anything about a port map. You need two data mappings and a patch map to choose which is in effect.

Sorry for wasting Your time with an incomplete and unintentionally submitted setup of one of my trial and error versions. The screenshot below shows my interpretation of Your advice, but the map change was done manually. Remote triggering by direct PC0 and PC1 activates the corresponding map (not shown, works as explained in handbook), but there is no switching between the maps using the same PC4. (sreenshot) PSE don´t let me struggle to much by Your legendary short hints. I did my best, although I have no idea where in the data flow of my setup the patch map should do the switching work. Image follows as soon as I found out how to upload it.

You're confusing me a bit. In your first message, you said > Problem: Switch between CC 83 and CC 84 by the same PC message Now you're talking about PC0, PC1 and PC4 - that's three different PC messages, not the same message. And in your map, you've referred to CC 80. I assumed you wanted: PC0 -> CC/83/somevalue PC0 -> CC/84/somevalue - that is, one incoming MIDI message alternating between two outgoing MIDI messages. Is that what you're after, or is it more complex?

| Thanks for Your effort of claryfing: Your assumption is right. Off the above probem: PSE give me a hint how to upload images. I can´t see the oviously obvious. So as a bypass solution I sent the screenshot mentioned in the last post to webmaster "at" midiox.com a few days ago. Hartmut

OK, now I come to try it... I can't seem to get it to work myself. The patch mapping seems to be happening before the data mapping... Which means it only ever loads the first map. You'll have to look into writing a scripted solution.

Peter: Yes, it was decided that Patch mapping should pre-empt data mapping.

OOOps, unfortunately I have not the faintest idea of reliable scripting. The times of BASIC and FORTRAN have gone. I would appreciate it very much if somebody could provide help or a stable routine, say against a fair donation to Midi-Ox. Hartmut
