Translation map fundamentals, need clarification

Dear forum people, I would very much appreciate being clarified as follows, but please also correct me where might be interpreting wrong, as needed. (In the following, do not wish to consider the Clone function) 1. A translation map is a set of one or more translations: T1, T2, T3, etc. 2. Each translation has an Input and an Output. 3. Translations are done sequentially T1, T2, T3, so the order is important. 4. Let's say we have Input1 matches values for T1 and so Output1 is produced. 5. From reading the manual, it seems as if Output1 goes out immediately to the open output? 6. Therefore, does Output1 "vanish" from MidiOx and is not available to subsequent translations T1, T2, ...? 7. Or, does Output1 continue down to translations T2, T3, etc., for further translations, and after the last translation tests it for match, then it goes out? Thanks for clarification/corrections afforded.

5. Yes it goes out immediately, unless CLONE is checked in the map, in which case the translation is issued and then the original event is available for further mapping. 6. See 5 7. No -- If you need something like this attach one or more additional MIDI-OX instances via MIDI Yoke and enter further mappings in those.
