So it's my understanding that Midi-Ox can basically do everything that anyone has ever wanted to do involving midi (so good job!).  I've built an external usb numpad into a pedal and I need to assign the different keypresses to midi signals which I can then assign to events in Ableton and the other programs I use for live performance.  Basically my goal is to have a VST guitar effects pedal/loop pedal.  I need a way to make the keypress "numpad 7" to send "MIDI note 1" and so on.  I also need it to be able to recognize the keypress "backspace" on the numpad as that is my record button!  If Midi-OX is able to do this could you please give me very easy to understand instructions on how to go about this?  I've never worked with MIDI until now so I'm kinda new to all this.

Thanks!
