Mapping EXpression/Volume Panel to Sustain cc#64

Dear Forummember, iīm a newcomer in Midiox and tried it by my own, but couldnīt solve my problem. I searched the forum for answers, but it seems that i searched in the wrong corners, i couldnīt find any solutions.... Maybe you can help me out actively.... I bought an old Technics sx kn 2000. It has got a sustain input and an expression/volume slot. The sustain input works fine with kontakt 4, but it is only a switch. I canīt use halfpedal with it. I have got an roland dp 8, which is able to send a continuous signal. To use this function, i wonder if it is possible to use the expression/volume (normally cc#7/11)input and map the signal to cc#64(sustain). In my understanding this should not be a big problem, but instead of sending an cc#7 or cc#11, my panel sends this hexmessage: 0017FE39 1 6 F0 Buffer: 17 Bytes System Exclusive sysx: f0 2c 01 18 10 20 08 00 00 00 01 07 0f 00 54 f7 I do not understand this message and donīt know, how to map this message to cc#64. Kontakt 4 doesnīt understand this message either. I thought i could control the mastevolume with it, but i canīt... Can you explain/translate this message for me? And is there a possibility to map the signal of this expression/volume slot, so that i can use it for sustain? How do i have to define the map? For the CC-messages i have to use the event type "Ctrl", but what should i use for this sysx? Thank you for helping me and other dummies out. Regards, Nogi PS lease excuse my english. I donīt use your language very often...

Start of Sysex: f0 Manufacturer: 2c Data: 01 18 10 20 08 00 00 00 01 07 0f 00 54 End of Sysex: f7 "Sysex" / "System exclusive" messages contain data that is understood exclusively by the manufacturer's systems. MIDI OX doesn't support Data Mapping of Sysex messages. Does the manual for the Technics sx kn 2000 suggest that there is any other mode of operation for the pedal?

Thank you for your explanation, Peter, hmm, i read the manuel, but couldnīt find a hint for other operation modes... It seems that the keyboard does not send the information via midi for expressionpedal...itīs such a pitty... Nevertheless, thanks for your help! Nogi
