Is there a way to add delay to the sysex strings sent from data mapping? It is available in the sysex window, but I dont see an option for it if the sysex is sent as part of a mapped data event. Thx, jbw

there is no option to delay in sysex messages but there is for other midi messages ie program control anc control change etc which if I understan your issue in using sysex to change mode then sending pc or cc data being ignored as the synth hasnt completed the mode change adding dleay to the pc or cc messages being sent should solve that issue

Exactly! The ability to add delay after the F7 is sent is NOT available in the data mapping feature - only in the sysex view window. If the feature could be added, then the delay would provide ample time for the keyboards (I'm manipulating 3 of them) to mode change (when necessary) and then respond to bank and program change (non-sysex) messages. Currently, I have to have my keyboard player select the change (using a midi-buddy) twice to make sure he's got the right patches. I may have a kludge: I can double the entire string of data so that each event sends the data twice - I just hate doing stuff that way. jbw

after the sysex just send a single pc or cc command that has no effect on the synth or that the synth does not recognise with a suitable lenght delay on it then put all other midi messages after that
