Key splitting (Keyboard with 49 keys)

Hello!

I want to split my midi-keyboard so that the lower keys send their signals to one softsynth and the other keys to another softsynth. So I can play the bass with one synth and the melody with the other synth (DAW Sonar X1).
C2 --> B3: Synth 1
C4 --> C6: Synth 2

I found a plugin which should do the job, but it did not work with Win 64 bit:
http://www.tencrazy.com/gadgets/mfx/ --> MFX JamBuddy

Is there a possibility to use MidiOx in that way?

I am a beginner with MidiOx and have no experience at all. I only need the program for this function. If someone have the experience to tell me what to do (step by step, beginning with the general settings), that would be great.

Gear:
- Keyboard: Roland A-500s (49 Keys)
- DAW: Sonar X1 Studio
- [Virtual Midi cable: LoopMidi: it is possible to use several virtual cables]

Thanks,
gonzomaster
