Monitor Input displays same data as Monitor Output

When I run Band-in-a-Box, the midi input monitor shows the same data as the midi output monitor. Why is this happening? MIDI-OX midi input/output are configured like this: input port - in from MIDI Yoke 1 to output port - E-DSP Midi Port (EF00); input port - E-DSP Midi Port (EF00) to output port - Out to MIDI Yoke 1. Band-in-a-Box is configured with Midi Input Driver - E-DSP Port (EF00) and Midi Output Driver is - out to MIDI Yoke 1.
Do I have MIDI-OX configured incorrectly? Thanks in advance.

In BIAB
E-DSP In -> BIAB
BIAB -> MIDI Yoke 1
So the result for BIAB ....
BIAB -> MIDI Yoke 1 ->(MidiOx) -> E-DSP Out

but...
the Midi data coming in the Emu interface is also being sent to MIDI Yoke 1
E-DSP In -> BIAB
E-DSP In -> (MidiOx) ->Midi Yoke 1 -> (MidiOx) -> E-DSP Out
I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but if you are trying to see the Midi data coming in and out of BIAB....
E-DSP In will always be shown in the Input Monitor. So MidiOx is displaying in the Input Monitor what BIAB is seeing.
To see what is coming out of BIAB you need to use Midi Yoke
What is coming into MidiYoke1 is also always displayed in the Input Monitor
Selecting MidiYoke1 as BIAB output port is enough to see the data coming out of BIAB in MidiOx's Input Monitor
To make your external sound module function at the same time just connect using the Port Routing Window.
MidiYoke1 -> E-DSP Out
The result is ...
BIAB -> MidiYoke1 -> (MidiOx) -> E-DSP Out
So now you should only see whatever is being sent from BIAB in the Output Monitor.
In the Input Monitor you will see BOTH the data being sent from BIAB via MidiYoke 1 AND the data from E-DSP In

Thanks for your reply and information. I'll have to review this so I can fully understand what's happening.
Bottom line is that I do want to see the data being sent by BIAB and any data sent in as a result of what BIAB was sent. BIAB works just fine but I was surprised to see the output data being displayed on the input monitor.
If I can't understand your reply, I'll make another post to this thread.
