PC keyboard for patch mapping

Yes, but it is convoluted. You need to have MidiYoke setup. Connect the MidiOx Event Port to a MidiYoke port, say MidiYoke1 Press the "Play Notes From the Computer Keyboard" button on the toolbar (Piano keyboard with LED above) Play a few of the QWERTY keys and you should see Notes being sent to Midiyoke1 Next you need to set up a Data map that converts notes to patch change. * NoteOff * * * * to * Discard * NoteOn * * * * to * ProgChg * * * * Save this as QWERTYtoPC.oxm On the Line from MidiOx Event Port to MidiYoke1 there is a little square. Click this and load in the QWERTYtoPC.oxm file. Play a few of the QWERTY keys and you should now see patch change messages. Take note of the patch numbers and build your Patch map with the different Data Maps. Don't forget to turn it on. All the best Royce
