Hi all,
I am using 2 akai midimix controllers at once. Here is my problem described on software forum what I use.

http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=13875

I got recommendation for Midi ox which could resolve my problem.
When I manage my devices in midiox I mark both of them for input and output, heres screenshot.

Problem is when I use first or second midimix I got respond on both outputs. I need to somehow tweak them to be
midimix1 input - midimix1 output
midimix2 input - midimix2 output
In midimix editor they are both mannaged for different channels.

Hi
I am not quite sure what you want to do so I am going to assume you are trying to create a single 16 channel mixer.
You need to set up the Midimix 1 on Midi channels 1 to 8 and MidiMix 2 on channels 9 to 16 with the MidiMix editor.

I assume you want to mix them both to a single midi out.
As there is no 'normal' midi outs on the MidiMix, just the USB, you will have to use what is known as a Midi patch cable.
MidiYoke is one such a device and available free on the Midi OX home page where you got MidiOx

Once you have set it up and in MidiOx selected MidiYoke 1 in the Options / MidiDevices... for input and output, go to the Midi Port Routing and join MidiMix 1 and MidiMix 2 on the left side to MidiYoke 1 on the right side.
MidiMix 1 -> MidiOx -> MidiYoke 1 -> DAW
MidiMix 2-->/

Now in your software select the controller Midi In as MidiYoke 1.

You should now be able to control your DAW from the two MidiMixs.

If the MidiMix will keep in sync with the DAW via Midi, you need to  open Options / MidiDevices... in MidiOX again and this time select MidiYoke 2 for input and output as well as MidiYoke 1.
In the Midi Port routing window add two extra connections by connecting MidiYoke 2 on the left to both MidiMix 1 and MidiMix2 on the right.

In your Daw software select MidiYoke 2 as the controller output port so it will send it messages.
DAW -> MidiYoke 2 -> MidiOx -> MidiMix 1
........................................\-> MidiMix 2

All the best
Royce
