As in the title. I bought a new halfdamper pedal and it shows values in reverse. When I press the pedal I get value 0, and when I unpress it I get the value 127. I want to fix that by using MIDI-OX to remap each value from 0 to 127 in reverse.
That's why I need an example for this mapping.
Input: CC64 - Value 127
Output: CC64 - Value 0
I tried different solutions, but none of them worked. : <

If the tip ring sleeve (TRS or stereo) plug is not a sealed type or if you are happy to buy a new TRS plug, you can just swap the ring and sleeve wires.
OR you can just open the pedal case.
Most likely there will only be one electrical part in it (a pot) and it will have 3 wires connected to it.
If it is mounted on a printed circuit board instead, then there may be a jumper to swap it over.
Otherwise you just need to unsolder swap over and resolder the two outer wires.
If you are worried take photos of the part before you start unsoldering.
If you want to you can post a link to some pictures of the inside of the pedal and I will try to help.
In MidiOx
You just need a single line in the Options / Data Mapping
Press the CLEAR button then INSERT to start a fresh map.
Input = Any, Ctrl, 64, 64, 0, 127
Output = Match, Match, 64,64, 127, 0
Don't forget to save the map.
Check "Turn Map On" next to the OK button. Press OK.
Maps only work on routed midi (Midi in to Midi out)
You need to route an input to an output ... Go to the Port Routing window.
You can connect your input from the keyboard to the output back to your keyboard, BUT you will have to turn off "Local" on the keyboard.
Otherwise you will get at least 2x the Midi messages and the CC64 message might counteract each other.
If you are still having problems feel free to post again. Perhaps say what make and model the keyboard is.
