You can take a note on message and convert it to a patch change and 'Pass original value on (clone)' creating the two messages needed. So you could have different sounds but they would be linked to key value(pitch) which would make for a 'clue' in the ear training which you perhaps don't want.   To do it you would need to use the "scripting" function in MidiOx and program it yourself.
