Hi MidiOx has a system called Data Maps. Menu Options / Data Mapping... A new dialog will appear and the buttons you need are on the right. If there is some text in the middle or if the Clear button is not greyed out press Clear to start a new map Press Insert and a new dialog will appear. The top line of boxes is 'what MIDI messages should I catch'. In your case ... Channel Any or some specific channel - Event is Ctrl (=CC) Value 1 in Ctrl means CC Type. You are only interested in one value not a range of values so Min = 66 and Max = 66 Value 2 in a CC message is the data value You want to catch all of these values no matter what they are. In MidiOx -1 means all values (0 to 127) so Max = -1 and Min =-1 The second line of boxes are what you want to change your incoming CC message to. As you are changing the message from one CC to another just set Output settings to... Channel: Match Input Event: Match Input ( So don't change the message type, CC, or the channel) Value 1 (Type): Min and Max are 7 your new value Value 2 (Data) is again -1 and -1. This means the Output data number is the same as the Input. Press OK to return to the previous dialog. Save it as 'Sost_To_Vol.oxm' Case 1: Next to the OK button is a check box you can tick this and press OK and this data map will be applied to everything coming through MidiOx. Case 2: If you only want to apply this data map to be applied to one connection on the MIDI Port Routing window, DON'T check the box. Press OK and you are good to go for Case 1 For Case 2 In the MIDI Port Routing window the connection lines from the Midi In to the Midi Out ports have a square box in the middle of the line. Click this box and a new dialog, Connection Properties, appears. Look for 'Map File:' on the bottom right and select your 'Sost_To_Vol.oxm' that you just saved. Press OK to clear the Connection Properties dialog. Now this Data Map is applied to this one connection (you can use the oxm file on as many other connection as you want). There is a lot of info on teh for about this. Just search for "Datamap" Hope that helps All the best Royce
