Cubase SX & Rebirth via Midi Yolk?

Hi, I'm new to this, and could really do with some help! I've just installed MIDI Yolk, and I'm trying to set up Cubase to emit MIDI data so I can automate Rebirth from it. As far as I can make out, everything is set up correctly: All Cubase Outputs are set to 'midi yolk: 1', and the Rebirth MIDI input is set to 'midi yolk: 1' also. But it doesn't work! Also, everytime I shutdown one of the programs, I get the following message: 'feedback detected, shuting down port 1'. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance...

Please. It's not a chicken or an egg or a Yolk... It's MIDI YOKE Quote:Also, everytime I shutdown one of the programs, I get the following message: 'feedback detected, shuting down port 1'. |
| It sounds like you either have a Cubase MIDI In set to MIDI Yoke 1 as well as the Outs, or you have a Rebirth MIDI Out or Thru set to MIDI Yoke 1.

haha, yeah sorry about that...YOKE. Anyway, all Cubase imputs are 'not connected', and Rebirth doesn't have outputs or 'through'. So I'm still stumped...

Cubase must have some inputs connected 'behind the scenes'? Stuff like MTC or MIDI Sync?

Turns out I had installed in the wrong order and ended up with the wrong rewire.dll. Had to replace with the latest and all was OK. Midi OX and Midi Yoke are cool. Thanks Steve
