Connecting ReBirth, Cubase and Phatboy

I am trying to use Midi yoke to connect RB 338 and Cubase so that I can control Rebirth with a phatboy. RB and phatboy on their own OK. Cubase with Rebirth ReWired in works fine but there is no MIDI input for the phatboy to transmit across. I thought MIDI yoke might work in this instance. I have fired MIDI Yoke up. (The instructions are excellent!!). RB recognises it and I can see the MIDI yoke channels under input preferences. Trouble is, Cubase just hangs up and won't even start. If I remove MIDI yoke, Cubase fires up as normal. Any bright ideas here much appreciated. Regards, VonStarnberg

If you're on Windows 98, you're probably using an older Cubase. If that's the case, try using the Cubase SetupMME applet to prevent a MIDI Feedback loop situation with MIDI Yoke. You can just prevent use of the MIDI Yoke ports completely from Cubase.
