I AM A IDIOT WITH THE FOLLOWING: GATEWAY PC--WINDOWS XP ELECTRIBE M MUSIC PRODUCTION STATION (EM-1 KORG) USB MIDI (SPORT UNO--1IN/1IN) "MIDIMAN" MIDI OX (DOWNLOADED FROM INTERNET) AND I AM JUST AS CLUELESS AS I WAS WHEN I PURCHASED MY FIRST ITEM. IM TRYING TO GET MY BEATS FROM MY STATION TO MY COMPUTER--EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED CORRECTLY. AM I ON THE RIGHT TRACK? WHATS NEXT? SOME ONE PLEASE TALK TO ME BECAUSE ALL I HAVE IS A DREAM! HOW CAN I GET WHAT IS ON MY MUSIC PRODUCTION STATION ON TO MY COMPUTER? SINCERELY STUPID

I'd like to answer this question, but I'm not sure what the question is? The answer depends on how the 'beats' are stored in the Korg. Does the korg claim thhat they can be transmitted via System Exclusive? Or does it transfer MIDI Files? Or does it just playback through MIDI? If it uses System Exclusive (SysEx), you can use MIDI-OX to transfer 'Bulk Dumps', containing the 'Beats', but that wouldn't let you edit the Beats on the computer.
