Hi,

Thanks Jamie for the FMsynth driver, this small gem was the best thing ever back in the days! The ability to use OPL3 sound from real midi sequencer (Cakewalk pro 3) was revolutionary (compared to the trackers in the dos mode).

Recently I started putting my retro  music computer  together and FMsynth had to be there. Since the driver is compatible only with windows 3.1 - 98se (and windows ME may be too),  it was fairly hard to get modern parts to work in the win98se installation.  I just started to wonder could it be possible to release the source code of this driver, may be somebody would be interested  to convert this VxD driver into WDM based driver and may be add some new features too. I hope I'm not the only one finding this driver still useful Smiley
