MIDI Note Filtering For Drums

I wonder if someone might help me out as Im new to midi-ox. I can see that you can filter events like note-on and note-off but its not clear to me how to filter out specific notes, for example, C#4 etc. My objective is to record drums and capture the midi notes such that I might seperate the kit and redirect individual drums to individual midi tracks. Kick to one track, snare to another etc. Is this possible? Is there a better way to do this? Years ago I used to use Bar&Pipes on my AMIGA. It had a simple note filter that could do this easily. Doing this in windows seems to be a major task.(?) Thanks!! Norm

| The easiest way to do this would be to use a sequencer such as Cakewalk Pro Audio or SONAR. In those applications there is a simple 'split notes to tracks' CAL script. Still, this is possible to do in MIDI-OX via the data mapping facility: you need to set up a series of mappings to route different drum notes to various channels. Of course, MIDI-OX would be performing this action in real-time without any facility for recording the result.
