Sysex & Cakewalk 5

I created a sysex msg that works. I send it from MIDI OX to my unit and it does exactly what I want. But . . . when I try to load it into Cakewalk 5, I get a msg saying that F0 and F7 are missing. They're not! What I do is take the sysex file created with MIDI OX and put it in the Cakewalk directory. I go to VIEW/Sysx/Load Bank/ and select the sysex file. Then I receive the msg: "Bad data in file: Missing F7 or F0." I examined the file and noticed that there was a lot of file stuff after the F7 in my file. I erased it all, and it still did not work. HELP! LukeIII

I'm guessing that CWPA 5 is complaining that the message doesn't end with F7. MIDI-OX has no restrictions about that, but data cannot be processed by MIDI Gear unless a SysEx message is terminated. Of course, the message must also be in an exact format and often check-summed, to be correctly processed as well.
