profile doesn't load when I start up

Well, at least that's how I think I should describe the problem. Normally, when I started multiple instances of Midiox, each one would open with the channels, mapping, etc. set up as they were when I closed them down the last time I used them. Very convenient indeed. For some reason, now, when I start up, the first instance opens with nothing set up at all. Instances 2,3, and 4 all open up as they should. I have to load a profile (which I saved) of the desired setup for the first instance in order to setup everything correctly. How can I fix this?

Usually, MIDI-OX will save the current configuration for each instance when it is closed, and it saves the Port configurations whenever they are changed. However, launching with a profile overrides any saved settings, and also prevents it from saving the profile settings as a configuration. If you want to launch with a profile, but also remember those settings, you could try launching with a profile, then opening Options | MIDI devices... and then press OK without changing anything.
