Hi, I'm a midi noob & have browsed the forums for help but need something more specific. I need some help with the following set-up pls! I've got the following set-up; midi controller keyboard yamaha sw1000xg cubase SL xgedit midi-ox/yoke (on windows xp) my problem is I'm trying to get it set up so that I can make realtime changes with xgedit that will show up in cubase - but I'm lost!! I've had things working so that I can record the soundcard sounds via my keyboard into cubase fine, so the basic midi ins/outs are ok, but it's the realtime bit with xgedit/midi-ox which is confusing me... can anyone give me any pointers for setting this up pls? any help much appreciated!! cheers Reef

Please take a look at Gary Gregsons instructions for XGEdit. You can use them directly, substituting MIDI Yoke for Hubis Loopback (LB), and MIDI-OX for hwmdcable: http://www.yme.co.uk/yme/hubis.htm I think the information about Cubase's SETUPMME.EXE is no longer true, but everything else is.
