Help With Fruityloops N Acid

I was wondering how to sync acid 4.0b and [F]ruity[L]oops 3.56 using midiox/yoke. Certain limitations are that FL must be the master and acid has to be the slave. Also FL only sends a midi clock and acid only recieves a MTC. So I want to somehow have FL send a midi clock into midiox and convert it to a MTC for acid to recieve. The over all objective is to have Acid start/stops with when FL starts/stops as well as tempo syncs. Any input will help I'm not very privy with midi especially this program I think this is possible, Thanks Joe

Apparently, This cannot be done because if you changed the tempo it would fall apart. Also in theory you could have midiox start both of the 2 at the same time using MTC and Clock send however they would eventually un-sync and eventually drift apart This is for anyone whose wondering, Joe P.S. With FL4.0 [and FL Studio] you could run FL as a VSTi in Acid 4.0b so the tempos are matched but this taxes you CPU as well as your sound card.

You are absolutely correct about the tempo problem associated with MIDI Sync. There are some fairly expensive units which can perfrom the conversion, but no general purpose software that I know of. MIDI-OX does have an option to trigger MTC and MIDI Sync at the same time, but as you point out, these can drift over time.
