FruityLoops and MidiOx don't get on ;=(

hi

After chasing a bug for some while it seems it boils down to MidiOx and/or FruityLoops.

I was getting really bad crackles when moving windows around in FL (the new FLStudio, but also in FL 3.56) when songs are playing.

I did loads of graphics related tweaks but none worked.

I normally have both my keyboards (onboard MPU401, sw1000 Midi In) and Kenton CF (Hammerfall multiface Midi In) combined into a single yoke instance (Yoke 1) in MidiOx.

This works fine in Cubase SX.

When I closed Midi Ox PRIOR to opening FLS - no crackles at all. If I then enable the "hardware" Midi inputs separately - also no crackles !

Is there a possible setting in Midi Ox that may circumvent this problem or is it a fundamental problem between FLS and Midi Ox ?

cheers

I don't see how MIDI-OX could cause noise when moving Windows around in FL, but it sounds like some werid interaction is occuring.  There were some reported incidences of MIDI Yoke causing crackles in Logic Audio, that seemed to be fixed by adjusting the MIDI Yoke thread priorities.  You might try that: http://www.midiox.com/mfaq.htm#whyClick

I am glad to hear that that fixed it.  This may help some other folks too.
