Midi-OX as a repeater app

I am a Gigastudio user in a mac/windows environment.  I presently have a hardware MIDI interface that provides 8 16 channel interfaces to PC#1.  I use 4 of these interface (64 channels) on PC#1.  I would like to use Midi-OX together with Midioverlan+ to pass the other 4 interfaces across the network to PC#2 for use by Gigastudio#2.  Can it function in this role?  I would need to use Midi-OX to map the outputs of the 4 16 channel hardware interfaces to the 4 inputs of Midioverlan+ on PC1 and then access the outputs of MOL+ on PC2.  Will the latency kill me?
Thanks.

Are the machines physically separated so far apart that you can't run a MIDI cable between them?  If not, that is by far the best solution: a MIDI network.

I think this is a similar question to the last question?

I need a device that will take a midi note in and output it to a chord triad.  The chord triad is chosen by the program from a  table which the user prespecifies (key and mode for a particular song).  The purpose of this is to modify a key board arranger like the Korg PA 80 for 1 finger mode to be used with different scales and modes.  The ultimate purpose is to control all this from the low E string of my midi guitar.  Im not afraid of light midi programming.  Thanks for your time

No offense meant, but I don't see what this question has to do with anything in this thread?  It seems like more of a mapping question, but I don't fully understand it.  Would you like to repost this (maybe as a new question, with more details) in the mapping section?  Explain more about what you'd like MIDI-OX to do in this process.
