KORG X3 MIDI player for PC ???

Hello everyone in this great forum... I'm newbie, so please forgive me if I write something stupid... I had to sell my Korg X3 few years ago (bad financial situation). I still have hundreds of songs I made (.mid files). Those files are not quite godd reproduced with standard MIDI players, 'cause at that point I used some strange key allocation. Is there any chance I can find some PC MIDI player (Korg X3 emulator or something) speciaficaly written for Korg X3, so I can listen my songs on my PC ? Thanks in advance for your answers !

I've no idea what this has to do with MIDI OX... Unless there's a software emulator for the Korg X3 around (I've no idea what one is - you could check the Korg Legacy Collection), then you'll probably not get too far in getting exactly the sounds you had from the X3 itself. I guess you've not got a complete sampleset of each sound? If you had, you could use something like SynthFont to play your MIDI files.

Thank you Peter for your kind answer and very fast respond... I'm just little bit lost and I really don't wanna loose ability to hear my songs again... Ugly war destroyed everything that I had in my old country, so I'm starting from the scratch. Unfortunatelly, i don't have enough money to buy new Korg X3, so I'm looking for some kind of software emulator with all those X3 sounds in it... of course if it's possible. Sorry one more time, because of my stupid questions... Regards !

Few years later... lol, no. It absolutely has nothing to do with "bad" soundcard. All it has to do with is, differences between General Midi and custom non-standard Korg X3 Midi and the way how those Midi files were exported back then.
