How would I set up using MIDIox and Muzys together? I want to send the keyboard data from MIDIox to my vst plugins in Muzys. I have MIDIyoke installed, also. If you guys can help out a new guy, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

"I want to send the keyboard data from MIDIox"
I take it you mean the computer keyboard - otherwise, you wouldn't need MIDI-OX...

Okay, MIDI-OX writes to any system MIDI Output port.  Muzys reads from any system MIDI Input port.  You need either to run a cable from a physical Out to a physical In, or do the same "virtually".  I won't go down the physical route Wink.

Install MIDI Yoke.  In MIDI-OX, go to Options->MIDI Devices and select one of the MIDI Yoke junctions under "MIDI Outputs".  This should cause a new entry to appear in "Port Mappings" with a "+" next to it.  Click the "+" to expand the entry.  You should see "MIDI-OX Events".  If so, all's well.  In "Presets", type some name for this configuration and click the diskette icon to save it.  Then click OK.

Start up Muzys.  Go to System->MIDI Hardware.  In one of the "MIDI In" boxes select the MIDI Yoke junction with the same number you used in MIDI OX.  Load up a VSTi into the rack.  The MIDI Input Player ("MIDI In" on the toolbar) should switch to this entry automatically - otherwise switch to it by hand.

Now go back into MIDI OX.  To act as a "virtual keyboard", MIDI OX needs focus.  On the toolbar is a picture of a keyboard.  Click it and it starts flashing.  Your computer keyboard will now send MIDI notes and Muzys will play them through the selected player.

To record, practice switching between Muzys and MIDI-OX and use the count in.

Need a little more help. I have it all set up as you said, but still can't get Muzys to play the plugin. I can't hear any synth sounds. How should I go about setting it up to play with the input. Thanks for your help.

Okay, set a track up with the plugin as the player and switch to the Key Editor.  Use the mouse to play the keyboard.  Does that work?

If you've set the MIDI Hardware up right, you should be able to switch to MIDI OX and (with the keyboard active) play notes.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to describe what you've actually done.
