Hello all : I know basically nothing about MIDI, so I'll just throw this out and see if it sticks. I would like to use my ( midi ) automated analog console to control my DAW software. Can this be done ? My console ( Tascam M-3700 ) outputs midi from the faders and mutes when in the "write" mode. I would like to use this output to control the faders in my software ( Creamware ) . Control surfaces like the Radikal SAC 2.2 will control software from several different makers, so this must be some sort of "standard" midi code, right? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks, Durff

Have you got the manual..? You probably don't need MIDI-OX for this - just plug it's MIDI Out port into your MIDI In port, and then - so long as your software has MIDI Learn - just teach the program what the controller is doing.

So, the trick is, to have my DAW software "learn" the output of my console, right?
