Hi there i have recently brought a keyboard that is non midi support >_<. Anyway i use midi notate to extract and view midi files in order to play now it also allows yu to connect with a midi device oply and make sure you are playing the song correctly. I have tried using yoke nt driver coupled with the music masterwork program but it doesnt work. What i am looking for is a program that will pick up a wave from a line in convert this file to midi on the fly and forward this midi directly to another program (i.e midi notate) Any help that you can give me would be great Thanks

Google turns up several hits you might want to investigate: http://www.google.co.uk/search?num=100&q=audio-to-midi

You can do this with some program, but... if you can, buy a midi keyboard. There are some cheap ones, that only are controllers (no synth onboard) and will help you a lot (modulation wheels, sliders, etc that you cant do with the way you ask) luck!
