MIDI event queue

This is a question for Jamie, I think i have posed it somte time earlier already.
The Win32API for MIDI supports an event queue, which can be filled and then played. This would allow to create MIDI sequences on the fly and play them almost realtime without the need to do the event queue management in one's own code. Nevertheles, it could allow invervening with a real time controller while the sequence is played. So one could play a sequence and adjust ticktime in realtime with a slider, while playing, speeding up or slowing down as part of a live performance. One also could play with pan parameters, moving sound sources in space. Is there any chance the COM object that MIDIOX implements will support this in the near future?
