SAVING MIDI FILES AND PLAYING THEM ON OTHER UNITS

Hi, I have a Korg Electribe EM1 and I use midi ox to back up data from it. The data is saved as a sysex file which I understand contains pattern data, and specific system patch data. I want to upgrade to a Korg EMX1 but I don't want to have to manually reprogram my songs. I know the EMX1 will not accept the sysex data, but is there a way to transfer just the drum and synth patterns and then I only have to manually set the patch sounds etc? Thanks

I think you'd need to talk to Korg tech support.
