CryHi,
How do i set up the midi ox in order for my notation program(Sibelius) to respond to it and use it with midi yoke together i  to play back my virtual instrument library in Sibelius?
Right now, when i change the midi devices in sibelius, it freezes
And How do i setup the midi yokes in that way that i can have 8 channels within 1 midi yoke?
I am very short in midi channels with only 8 midiyokes.
(i need up to 40 instruments= 40 channels)
Thanks,....

You don't need MIDI OX for this (unless you've some requirement you've not mentioned).

Each MIDI Yoke port supports the usual 16 MIDI channels.

As there are eight MIDI Yoke junctions, that gives you 128 possible channels.  If you arrange your composition carefully and ensure you re-use channels (i.e. change the playing instrument), you should have enough channels for scoring anything, IMO Smiley.

Of course, you need to choose your virtual instruments with care.  If they are mono-timbral (i.e. they take an entire MIDI port yet only allow you to assign one patch), then you're restricting your options.  A multi-timbral virtual instrument - for example, a sampler like SFZ+ - will let you have a different sound on each MIDI channel and let you change that sound using a patch change command (to a different preset).

Connections are what they would be with "real" MIDI instruments - Sibelius MIDI Out -> MIDI Yoke n -> Virtual Instrument MIDI In.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for responding.Howerver most of your answer sounded to complicated to me,... but i DID understand what you said about Midi yokes by it self.
So now i changed the channel numbers in my kompakt player from my East West Silver pack(which only comes with 1 kompakt player). And by opening the programm 8 times, i have eight players with 8 slots managed over different midi channels in every midi yoke.AND IT WORKED!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH ....
