Can Midi-Ox do this?

Forgive me for a newbie question. I did a bit of a search on the forum, downloaded the software, but it's not clear to me whether or not what I want this program to do it can do for me!

What I want to do is record either controller or NRPN messages and store them as a "snapshot". Time (meaning when exactly this control message is received) is not important, just that these messages get stored.
I then would like this "snapshot" to be transmitted (i.e. all the controller or NRPN messages sequentially) when a program change message is received.

For example, the program receives, via midi, several controller messages and stores them to snapshot #1. When it receives program change #1, these controller/NRPN messages stored under snapshot #1 are transmitted out via midi.

More (different) controller messages are received and stored to snapshot #2. When it receives program change #2, these controller/NRPN messages are transmitted.

There needs to be capability to store hundreds of snapshots indexed by the program change number. When program change #230 is received, all the controller/NRPN messages that are stored in snapshot #230 are transmitted.

The purpose of this is to store information from digital mixer. The mixer sends out either control change or NRPN messages that correpond to a fader or button press. The mixer can also receive control change or NRPN messages and the correponding fader will move to that value or a button will turn on or off.

Is Midi-Ox capable of this function? If not, please let me know if you've heard of a program that can do this. It's basically controller snapshot storage/recall triggered via program change.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

MIDI-OX can store and send controller snapshots but only manually, not in response to program change messages.

Thank you for your quick reply!

What are the chances that the author would add such a feature?

Or can a script be made to do this?

How do you record and playback controller changes (even manually)?

The rule in progamming is that you can do anything but from a practical standpoint there would be many problems to solve.

Open the help file. Click the plus by "Main Menu". Click on View, then MIDI Status. I could only repeat what's written there.
