Recording Sysex - Works with MIDI-OX running, not

Strange issue here for me, gentlemen. I have a Roland MKS-50 with the PG-300 programmer routed through an M-Audio Midisport 8x8. Midisport 8x8 MIDI OUT >> MKS-50 MIDI IN PG-300 MIDI OUT >> Midisport 8x8 MIDI IN When I turn on MIDI-OX (which displays all my MIDI messages), I can see it register the notes played by my controller and the Sysex generated by the PG-300. With record enabled in Cubase, I can record this very Sysex into my sequencer. I thought this would suggest that everything is working a-ok. Unfortunately, when I close MIDI-OX, Cubase is still able to register and record the Sysex generated by the PG-300 but it will not route it to the synth so I cannot hear it effect the synth in realtime. Only after recording the Sysex and playing it back will it route those messages to the synth. Does anyone understand what MIDI-OX is doing to route those messages properly and what Cubase is apparently *not* doing correctly? I am using Cubase VST 32.

I don't have Cubase, but I would imagine you need to look for some kind of 'Echo SysEx' option.
