hello I am new here, but I hope that you can help me with my problem so I can continue up the learning curve. I am using midiox on windows xp with a waldorf blofeld connected via USB from the blofeld to the computer. the blofeld only has a midi 'in' and i have a handsonic 10 connected to the blofeld. midiox is sending messages to the blofeld no problem, but I have been unsuccessfull at sending midi messages to midiox from the blofeld/handsonic. I can select the blofeld as the input (usb audio device) but there is no signal. I have checked and rechecked the parameters in the blofeld and not too sure what to check in midiox. Thanks in advance for any solutions that anyone may have.

You can't make messages come out of a device that doesn't have a MIDI Out.

I'm feeling a bit slow... can you draw out the connections you've got and then what you're trying to do, like: [device MIDI Out] -> [device MIDI In] and so on.

In MIDI OX, under "Options->MIDI Devices...", you should have the USB connection listed as both an input and output device. For MIDI OX to use it, it needs to be select. Before you go ahead, I'd advise deselecting it if it's already selected, turning OFF "Automatically attach Inputs to Outputs during selection" and then selecting it. Then click OK. Along the toolbar at the top of the MIDI OX windows, in the second group, click all five buttons. This gives you a complete view of the MIDI world as MIDI OX sees it.
