If you're seeing the data in the monitor window, it means all you've done is displayed the data arriving on a MIDI port.

If you want to save SysEx data, you need to use the SysEx tool, under "View->Sysex...".  The menu options there are fairly self-explanatory and the manual covers it, too.

my problem is that under "View->Sysex-->SysEx and Scratchpad then under " Command Window" the  Save and the Save As options are not available and are not "enlighten". The only active and enlighten voices under "Command Window" are:
- Load file
- Word Wrap
-Page Setup
- Options
what can i do?
Let me know

thanks again

You need to use the 'Receive Manual Dump..."
under View/Sysex/Sysex

This will pop up a save dialog for you to name the syx file and when you click OK on this, it just sits and waits for you to send the data. Click 'done' when the counter stops and the file is saved.
