MIDI-OX on Win7 x64?

Newb here, just trying M-O for the first time. I'm running Win7 x64, 16GB RAM. When I try to add any of my external MIDI devices, I get an error saying "There is not enough memory available for this task..." I tried running it in XP compatibility mode, but it made no difference. Is there some setting I'm missing?

Jamie has discussed MidiOx on newer Win platforms. Have a look around the forum and you should find some help. Royce

I tried a number of searches including a phrase from the exact MIDI-OX error, and also (windows and 64), (windows and memory), etc. but turned up nothing relevant. It's a big forum and I don't really have time to read all the posts!

Fair enough. I haven't had this error on my Win7 64bit system. From Jamie « Reply #7 on: Jan 22nd, 2014, 10:49am » Just to confirm: MIDI-OX will install and operate under Win 7, 8, and 8.1. MIDI Yoke will also work (as a 32 bit driver only) under Win 7, 8 and 8.1 (x86 and x64), but it takes a bit of work to get it installed. I hope to release a new installer soon. Here is a link where they has a similar error http://www.midiox.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=query;action=display;nu m=1399759433;start=1 I have seen this error mentioned on other forums and it was claimed that the USB interface was a problem. Sometimes even a reboot won't clear it but pulling the USB cable and plugging back is said to fix it. I have also seen mention of this error using a cheap Midi interface and the MicroSoft class complient driver. Did your Midi interface come with its own driver CD? Royce
