Hello,

Recently, I've bought Roland D-50. So, for now i'm trying to load some new sounds. I've been diggin all related material about transferring sysex files into d-50, but I still encounter  problem. When i try to send sysex from MIDI-OX , occurs "midi communication error".

i"ve tried to reduce sysex sending speed, but same problem.

Also, when i try receive sysex from D-50 it works perfectly.

Otherwise, I've used  D-50 libriran, Bome SendSX.. still got same problem

I've got this MIDI CABEL, that i've purchased at amazon (https://goo.gl/8txhl1)

Maybe, i should get another cabel? but if receiving works,
probably it's not about midi cable.

So, any help will be great
Thanks,

Dito

Hi
although you can receive sysex, the MS driver only allows for small sysex messages and sometimes this is a problem as there is no size limit in the Midi specification and manufactures did what ever they thought best.

I am fairly sure your problem is your interface. You need one with its own driver ie a driver CD.
Try M-Audio Midisport or Korg or Roland or Yamaha.
You might like to spend the money on a controller that has a Midi interface so you get something extra for your money.
My Behringer BCR2000 works perfectly and has the great bonus of being able to change the sound of hardware synths (or software synths for that matter) .

All the best

UPDATE:

So, guys i just wanna let you know and everybody with this issue ..
Recently I've bought M-audio Sport 1x1 and 2 midi cables.

http://m-audio.com/products/view/midisport-1x1

I Plugged this midi interface into Roland D-50 and everything works perfectly!

I've just turned off PROTECT mode and set EXLUDE to ON.

So, that's it. I transfer all different kind of SYSEX files into my synth.

Thanks everyone and have a good day!

Best,

Dito
